Your residence in southern France – a charming holiday house in the Provence, Dept. Var, region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, PACA

You find our cosy little house (for 2 – 5 persons) originating from the 17th century, right in the center of the old mountain village Seillons, Source d’Argens, .

Go up to the garden or the roof terrace and enjoy a fabulous view to the mountain chain “Massif de la Sainte Baume” and to the surrounding vineyards where the typical provence wines are produced. See the most fantastic morning and evening twilights from here.

In our slim town house you get to one room per level (split level) via a spiral staircase, there are three bedrooms, spacious living-fireplace-kitchen room equipped with whatever is necessary to cook excellent dishes, bathroom (tub, shower, WC), terrace and one extra shower and WC. The large basement (for bicycles etc.) is accessible from the street.
We have a parking place for two cars, which is very important in these mountain villages and a little garden. Naturally available are central heating, dish washer and washing machine, TV, even an E-piano (Clavinova).

Available in our village: small supermarket, newspapers, coffee bar, wine cellar and shop, bicycle renting and always a splendid view.

Our holiday house is situated within a typical Provence area in the department Var in the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur. Seillons, Source d’Argens (source of the river Argens, flowing into the Mediterranean about 100 km south near Fréjus) lays approximately on the same line as Nice-Aix-en Provence-Marseille. It is about 4 km to the next town St. Maximin La Sainte Baume and there you find everything you need or want, even a wonderful market every Wednesday and also, the very spectacular biggest gothic church in the Provence, the basilica Ste. Marie-Madelaine.

You need about 40 minutes to go the Côte d’Azur and 15 minutes to the mountain chain “Massif de la Sainte Baume” with the grotto of the holy Marie Madelaine. Going up north you reach the breath-taking canyons of the river Verdon, promising adventurous walks along the turquoise blue river.
